The base map was constructed using an F2 population of 120 plants from Chinese Spring x Synthetic. Relative map positions of additional loci were extrapolated from knowledge of chromosome arm locations from nullitetrasomic or ditelosomic analysis or from locations in other wheat, barley or rye populations. Distances (in cM) on the A, B and D genome maps were meaned for purposes of alignment, but the gene orders were not compromised.
