Notes: 1 - Leaf spot diseases were common. 2 - Rust readings commenced on 7/22 and completed on 8/17. 3 - Normal temperatures and adequate moisture occurred for establishing rust. However, leaf rust severity remained low during the first half of the growing period. High temperatures on 8/7-8/9 forced plants to maturity and may have affected severity in stem rust susceptible entries.
