 Aberdeen, ID -- No yield data recorded for the Hard Wheat nursery.
 
 Bonners Ferry, ID -- Frost heaving and water damage occurred, destroying the Soft Wheat nursery and damaging 
 the Hard Wheat nursery.  Herbicide damage to the Spring Wheat nursery.  Fall fertilizer included 30 lb N on 10/9/96 
 and 50 lb N on 5/5/97. 
 
 Moscow, ID -- The lodging scale is 0 to 9.  Severe lodging in the Hard Wheat nursery.  Fertilizer included 176 lb 
 30-11-0-7 and 200 lb 40-0-0-6 in the spring.  Buctril and Harmony Extra applied 5/7/97.  The Spring Nursery 
 suffered from a heavy infestation of Hessian fly late in the season, causing lodging and stunting.  Fertilizer on the 
 Spring Nursery included 176 lb 30-11-0-7 in the fall and 150 lb 40-0-0-6 in the spring.  Bronate and Harmony Extra 
 applied on 6/20/97.
 
 Parma, ID --Located near Boise, ID.  The lodging scale is 0 to 9.  Severe lodging in the Soft Wheat nursery 
 reducing test weights significantly.  Fertilizer applied on 3/31/97 included 200 lb N.  This trial was irrigated.

 Bozeman, MT -- Lodging and agronomic score 0 to 9, with 0=best.  Stripe Rust score 0 to 5, with 0=best.  Percent 
 stand notes taken in spring after snow melt caused soil to suffocate plant rows in some areas of field.  ID515 and 
 ID516 had some real winter kill due to their spring wheat background.  The field was fallow in 1996, with peas in 
 1995 and spring wheat in 1994.   Spring wheat lodge index is 0-100 score.  For Spring nursery, fertilizer applied 
 (20-10-10) at 35 lb/ac.  The field was fallow in 1996, with peas in 1995 and winter wheat in 1994.  The growing 
 season was cooler and wetter (21.59 in.) than normal, causing a later planting and harvesting date.
 
 Kalispell, MT -- Previous crop plowed down alfalfa.  Fertilizer applied at 24 lbs. N, 30 lbs. P, 16 lbs. K, 21 lbs. S, 
 and 15 lbs. Cl.  Planting depth was 1.5 inches.  Soil temp. 57 degrees F.  The ground never froze, very saturated soil 
 from Nov. through April, 132 consecutive days of snow cover.  Severe snow mold.  On 5-2-97 the field was 
 fertilized with 51 lbs. N (34-0-0).  Tan spot and Septoria in some varieties, with TCK appearing throughout.  Notes 
 taken on July 16 indicated Leaf Rust, Stripe Rust, Powdery Mildew, greenbugs and aphids.  All grain moisture was 
 adjusted to 13% at harvest.
 
 Corvallis, OR -- Septoria scale is a 1 to 9 rating.  Random block experimental design.

 Pullman, WA -- Grain hardness and protein in Table 37, Spring Wheat Nursery, is from NIR.  For Spring Wheat, 
 previous crop was peas.  Seeding depth was 1.5 inches.  Precipitation levels (pre-planting through harvest) 6.89 in.  
 On May 27, 1997 Buctril, Harmony Extra, and Hoelon were applied for weed control.  The soft white winter 
 nursery was grown in a late (Oct. 9) planting and early (Sept. 24) planting as a footrot inoculated/fungicide 
 protected side-by-side trial.  Footrot spores applied Nov. 9 and Nov. 23, 1996. 
 
 Tulelake, CA -- The rating scale for diseases (area of flag-1 leaf affected at soft dough stage),  lodging, shatter,
