1 = Date of planting Fargo, 5/8/90, Carrington (flood irrigation) 5/3/90, Langdon,
 5/9/90.

Stem Rust - Natural inoculum plus additional inoculum from inoculation of races
 CRL-15TLM, -15TNM, -113RTQ, -151QFB, and -151QSH at Fargo.

Readings made at soft dough stage.
Comma - Separation of plants into two or more reaction classes (segregation or seed
 mixture).

Dash - Range in severity between plants with same reactions.

Heavy infection on susceptible check, Baart, was probably the highest than in any of the
last 20 years at Carrington and Langdon. The abundant inoculum was due to the high wheat
stem rust severity/incidence in barley which was caused by the ineffectiveness of the
 barley T-gene against Pgt-QCC.
