IV. 8. Coordinator's report: Chromosome 7.

George Fedak, Ottawa Research Station, Central Experimental Farm, Ottawa, Ontario K1A 0C6, Canada.

Several more genes have been reported to be associated with chromosome 7 since the last coordinator's report. A new recessive glo mutant 859/74 (designated glo-b1005) was found to be allelic to glo-b1001 and glo-b1002 located on chromosome 7 (Fischbeck and Häuser, 1978). A tigrina mutant (tig-o34) was found to be located close to the centromere of chromosome 7 (Hagsberg and Lehmann, 1978). Ullrich and Eslick (1978) give data from trisomic analysis that locus sex 3c of Riso 1508 is located on chromosome which complements linkage marker data published earlier.
