IV. 4. Coordinator's report: Chromosome 4.

Five genes associated with chromosome 4 can be added. Rym 1a, resistance to barley mosaic (2) demonstrated linkage with the hooded gene with 29% recombination. Rrs 9, resistance to barley scald; and rrs 1 and/or rrs 6, resistance to barley scald show trisomic association with chromosome 4 (1). Ch-e, a complementary gene for chlorosis (3) and ov1, a gene for ovuleless (4) have been reported on chromosome 4.
