BARLEY GENETICS NEWSLETTER, VOL. 6, VII. LIST OF GENETIC STOCKS
Andersen and Andersen, p. 160

VII.2 Genetic stocks with multiple marker genes.

S. Andersen and K. Andersen. Dept. Crop Husbandry & Plant Breeding, Royal Vet.-and Agricultural University, Thorvaldsensvej 40. 1871 København V. Denmark.

The following stock of homozygotic lines with 2 marker genes is available, and seed will be sent on request. Some 40 new lines will be tested for homozygosity in 1976, and suitable lines will be included in the collection. Some of these lines contain more than 2 marker genes, and crossing work is being carried out to combine several genes in one line. A revised list of the collection will be issued each autumn and sent to people who request it. Exchange of material with people working at similar projects will be appreciated.

The term "PAU" is used to indicate the colour which is characteristic to Re2, but according to our results "PAU" is allelic to Pau and pau (Andersen & Andersen 1973).

genetic stocks with multiple marker genes

It is desirable to list the original stocks from which each gene was introduced to the multiple stocks, since some gene symbols used in this list seem to be incorrect. (T. Tsuchiya, Genetic Stock Center, Fort Collins, Colorado, U.S.A. - Editorial note)
