IV.1 Coordinators' report: Chromosome 4.
T. E. Haus, Department of Agronomy, Colorado State University, Fort Collins, Colorado 80523, USA.
Fukuyama, et al. (BGN 5: 12-13) have associated the gene for 6-row spike, v5 with k on chromosome 4 with 16.2% recombination.
Takahaski, et al. (BGN 5: 56-60) have located the nodless or single internode dwarf gene, sid, in the long arm of chromosome 4, with 13.2% recombination with gl3. They have also located a chlorina gene, f10, between lg4 and gl3.
