During 1973, 64 translocations were added to the World Collection. Fifty-one were obtained from Hanna Hauser and G. Fischbeck, Institut fur Planzenbau and Pflanzenzuchtung, Freising-Weihenstephan and 13 were obtained from Gunborg and Arne Hagberg, The Swedish Seed Association. All are listed in Table 1.

There are now 333 translocations in the World Collection. They are fairly well apportioned among the 21 possible chromosome combinations (ranging from 9 T4-7's to 22 T2-3's, T2-4's and T5-6's).
No balanced tertiary trisomics were added to the World Collection in 1973.
Limited amounts of seed of the translocation and balanced tertiary trisomic seed stocks are available upon request from R. T. Ramage, Agronomy and Plant Genetics Department, University of Arizona, Tucson, Arizona 85721, U.S.A.
