Designation of telotrisomic lines has been a problem particularly for chromosomes 3 and 4. It has been suspected from morphological and cytological data that Telo 3A and Telo 4A would be Telo 3L and Telo 4L. However, arm location of several markers in the linkage maps showed that these telocentric chromosomes are Telo 3S and Telo 4S, respectively. Until the other arm of these chromosomes are found and studied the telotrisomic lines are designated as shown in Table 1
