INFORMATION ABOUT THE BARLEY GENETICS NEWSLETTER

The need for an international barley genetics newsletter was discussed at the First International Barley Genetics Symposium in 1963 and a resolution establishing Barley Genetics Newsletter was adopted by the Second International Barley Genetics Symposium in 1969. The resolution is included in the Foreword of Volume 1 of the Barley Genetics Newsletter.

The Barley Genetics Newsletter is published electronically and on paper. For the electronic version see: http://probe.nalusda.gov:8000/otherdocs/bgn/bgn.html . Future paper issues of the newsletter will no longer be distributed on a complimentary basis by the publisher. Paper versions will be available with advance payment of a subscription fee to the publisher. If you want to receive the next volume, please return the enclosed form, with payment, to the American Malting Barley Association, Inc. The Barley Genetics Newsletter will still maintain a list for informational purposes in the back of each issue. Even if you are not ordering a paper copy, please check your address, note any changes on the form, and return it to the American Malting Barley Association, Inc.
