Transfer of the genetic male sterile collection has been made from Bozeman to Brandon. The entire collection will be planted at Brandon this summer and comprises 448 spring barley stocks numbered 1 through 101 and 302 through 655. Seven of these numbered stocks were lost over the years while the collection was at Bozeman. The winter barley male sterile stocks are still maintained and distributed from Aberdeen, Idaho.
