Genes For Powdery Mildew Reaction

During the years 1982-1987 an annually updated list of gene (alleles) for powdery mildew reaction in barley has been published. A few changes and additions were made in BGN 18:120-134, 1988. New information has not appeared in 1988-1990, except that loci Reg5 (Mlp) and mld appear not to be on chromosome 5 (Jensen, 1989).

Loci For Disease and Pest Reaction

The following list of gene loci affecting disease and pest reaction in barley is compiled based on the comprehensive list of gene loci in barley published by Søgaard and Wettstein-Knowles (1987). The list is updated to ultimo 1990.
