The University of California, Davis will host the 14th American Barley Research Workshop at the Capitol Plaza Holiday Inn, Sacramento, California. The Workshop will be held on 13-17 May 1990 and is cosponsored by the Genetic Resources Conservation Program, University of California, Davis, CA 95616.

The American Barley Workers Conference has planned the following sections and cochairmen: Breeding, M. Therrien and B. J. Treat; Genetics and Biotechnology, D. E. Falk and P. Hayes; Pest Management, K. Bailey and F. W. Nutter; Agronomy and Physiology, D. E. Mather and J. G. Lauer; and End Use Quality, R. Bhatty and B. L. Jones.
