Partially dominant over normal (14).
Description:
Spike internodes about 6% longer than normal (13).
Relatively early mature plants with vigorous growth, long straw, long grain, and a high thousand grain weight (13, 16).
Origin of mutant:
1958 after resting Bonus seed treated with 1,700rad x-rays.
Mutational events: (2, 3, 4)
lax-d2, -d27, -d83.
Mutant used for description and seed stock:
lax-d83 and -d2 (5) in Bonus.
