Protocol	Puccinia recondita Rob. ex Desmasz. f.sp. tritici. Resistance based on the scale of Browder and Young (1975, Plant Dis Rep 59:964-965). The first digit of each code indicates the relative amount of sporulation and the second digit indicates relative lesion size, both on a scale of 0-9. The letter that follows describes the leaf's appearance of the tissue surrounding the lesion where C = chlorotic, P = pale, N = necrotic, and X = mixed. Plants rating < or = 2 scored as resistant. A score of 0 = immune, no pustule formation. An '*' after the score indicates that the accession scored differently when tested again. The rating recorded is the highest score noted. These scores are followed by an interpretive classification into 'Immune', 'Resistant', 'Intermediate' or 'Susceptible'.
