Abstract
In 2001-03, a field experiment was performed in Minikowo in Poland to determine the influence of different levels of N (0, 60, 90 and 120 kg ha SUP -1 ) on grain yield and technological quality parameters of three spring wheat cultivars (Ismena, Vinjett and Jasna). Vinjett was characterized in general by a higher value of qualitative parameters in comparison with Ismena and Jasna. An increase of grain yield was obtained with diverse N application up to 90 kg ha SUP -1 . Values of technological coefficients of the cultivars showed high tendencies in all rates of N application. A significant increase of the protein and gluten contents was found with increasing rates of N up to 90 kg N ha SUP -1 , while for sedimentation ratio and bread volume it was 120 and 60 kg N ha SUP -1 , respectively
