Specificity	Specific for High molecular weight (HMW) glutenin Glu-B1 subunit By16 produced by the Glu-B1-2c allele. The primer pair amplified the repetitive domain of the By gene, producing 3 PCR fragments for the By16 gene and 2 PCR fragments for By8, By8*, By9, By18, and By15 genes. Primers did not produce any product for By-null or 20 gene.
