Comment
Stunting is favoured by a combination of long days and low night temperatures (412). It is caused by duplicate recessive genes us1 and us2 located in chromosomes 4A and 5B, respectively (154). Line 492 (us1us1/us2us2) is stunted while Alfa and Jaral (Us1Us1/us2us2) and Mabruk (us1us1/Us2Us2) are normal (412).
