Comment
The Rht-1 homoeoloci are orthologous with the D8 locus in maize and the GAI locus in Arabidopsis. They encode proteins resembling nuclear transcription factors and are involved in sensing gibberellin levels (Peng et al., 1999). Common wheat and durum NIL pairs are listed in Singh et al., (2001).
