Comment
Gene is present in hexaploid stocks in 1R(1B) or in T1BL-1RS. Some wheats, which on the basis of cytological and rust tests carry 1RS from Petkus rye, do not express resistance, e.g., Florida, Heinrich, Olymp (264) and Sabina (619). Hexaploid stocks: derivatives of Petkus rye; see Yr9.
