Remarks	Evaluators: S. Duguid The Quaker nursery appeared quite good at this location. Some crown rust was evident on lower leaves of susceptible varieties and could cause yield damage if it continues to increase. Oats were rather tall but there was no lodging as of June 28. Yields should be good, although a few plots were somewhat irregular due to seeding problems. Several of the early varieties were showing evidence of damage which may have resulted from herbicide application. Other than Aberdeen, these were the best plots we had seen as of this date. We recorded notes on tertiary, straw strength, and general appearance. Notes and yield results will be more reliable at this location than at Morden.
