Remarks	Evaluators: H. Kaeppler, R.D. Duerst Row_Spacing: 7 inches Timely planting into a good seedbed resulted in good germination and an excellent early growth. Then excessive rainfall led to a thick stand with severe lodging prior to heading. Lack of rainfall during filling, the early lodging and a severe crown rust infestation reduced yields and lowered test weights. Some pockets of BYDV were observed on an almost random basis and essentially no stem rust was noted.
