Plant genetics and breeding Wheat and oat breeding and genetics. Emphasis on host resistance to barley yellow dwarf viruses, fungal diseases including S. nodorum, S. tritici, powdery mildew, rusts, and the insect pest Hessian fly, as well as plant agronomic characters.
