JBrowse is a genome browser with a fully dynamic AJAX interface, being developed as the eventual successor to GBrowse. The JBrowse Genome Browser is a fast, embeddable genome browser built completely with JavaScript and HTML5. It is part of the Generic Model Organism Database (GMOD) project, a collection of open source software tools for managing, visualizing, storing, and disseminating genetic and genomic data.
