Abstract
Based on the theory of set pair analysis and the principle of fuzzy cluster, a new analytical method of parent cluster was developed. A total of 20 parents were classified by using the method. The feasibility and reliability of the method in cross breeding practices were confirmed; 10 new wheat cultivars had been developed successfully. Based on this, its application prospect is discussed
